What is Governor O'Malley worried about?
Governor O'Malley must be getting worried. Why? Because for the third time in a 48 hour time period he has changed the start time for the "Raise taxes on the working family" Special Session scheduled for Monday May 14th. Is he worried about allowing time for protesters to organize or does he have a game of golf to play early in the morning? We may never know.
What we do know is that the purpose of the picket line is to make some of our elected officials think twice about the tax increases they are getting ready to implement. So We The People are changing the picket line time to 9:30-11:30 am. Please wear your red shirt or jacket and your walking shoes. Remember that if someone wants to cross the sidewalk they are welcome to, but it would create a great picture opportunity for the citizen watchdog journalists. Hope to see you on the line!
Have you heard that Governor O'Malley called for a special session just to raise our taxes?
Are you tired of trimming your budget while the state government lives high on the hog?
Would you like to stop this special tax hike?

Since the O'Malley administration only listens to the unions, we the frustrated, fed-up Maryland citizens are, for one day, forming the Maryland Taxpayer's Union. We're going to walk the picket line in front of the State Capital, Senate & House office buildings with the hope the Legislators will not cross our picket line and will stop the special session.
Union Dues of $1 will be collected then donated to the MD Food Bank. While O'Malley tries to take food off our table we will help our neighbors put that food back where it belongs.
Please wear a red shirt/jacket since O'Malley, Busch & Miller are forcing our household budgets to run in the red.
Picket signs will be provided, however you're welcome to bring a homemade sign that says:
You don't have my consent to be here
